A Great Day Out
Motorbike Madness is proud to offer this one-day tour to a little-known country retreat
just south of Pattaya.
Ready to rock Pattaya?
This one-day tour is fully inclusive and starts with chauffeur transfers from your hotel
to our base camp via our very own luxury minivans. When you arrive at our custom-built
fully equipped Motorcycle facility you’ll be giving a tour of our substantial site. Our
facility includes a well-run restaurant offering a range of quality western and Thai
food including beverages both soft and alcoholic. Our fully fitted changing rooms boast
hot showers, clean toilets, and safety lockers for all your possessions. Most impressive
of all is our very own training course. We request that all our guests listen to a short
but well-informed safety briefing before heading out on the roads. After this, we’ll get
you all suited up with high-quality imported safety clothing from the world’s leading
brands and pair each ridder with our fleet of high-performance touring bikes. Here we
put you through your passes on a variety of terrain at our specially designed onside
training course preparing you for the roads and trails ahead.
Once out on the open roads, we’ll head to the heart of Pattaya and climb to the top of
Buddha Hill in the Pratamnak area between Pattaya City and Jomtien. This prime location
is home to two temples with stunning views of Pattaya and its numerous glistening
islands.
The next leg of the road tour takes us through Pattaya City and its famous beach through
winding back roads to Siam Country Club and Maphachan lake. Now we head south on quiet
country roads passing fruit plantations, golf courses, and cattle ranches. The closer we get
to Silver lake the more scenic it gets with fantastic roads perfect for riders with long
sweeping corners and heavenly inclines until we reach our destination, Silver Lake.
This designated area of 480 square resembles the landscape and mountains of southern
Thailand’s most famous tourist locations such as Krabi and Phuket. One of Silver Lakes
mountains is held in high regard by Thais, the northern side of the mountain has a sheer
rocky face, carved into it is a huge golden Buddhist symbol. This attraction is known as Big
Buddha Mountain. Thousands of Thais and Westerners alike come to this monument to pay merit
to the Lord Buddha. From a riding point of view, the mountain has a fantastic ring road all
the way around it perfect for motorbikes. Various spots have viewing points where the entire
area can be seen with its lush rolling hills, vineyards, and glistening silvery lakes. This
area is under constant development with many restaurants, coffee shops, and buildings giving
a feel of Tuscan Italy with pine trees lining the entrance. The smell of olive trees and
pine will fill your nose as you enjoy your coffee. Once rested we hit dirty trails exploring
the Silver Lake area in search of elusive primates. These little-known shy but inquisitive
monkeys live in the Jungle surroundings, we’ll have to leave the beaten track to find them
which is a lot of fun and a test for those not used to riding off-road.
Heading south again now our tour takes us to Bang Chang. This beach-hugging community is home
to many lively bars and restaurants and a great place for lunch. The beaches of Bang Chang
have clear blue waters and soft white sand. Time for a well-earnt dip in the ocean so have
your swimwear and sun cream handy.
The return trip to Pattaya takes us through quiet fishing villages and stunning islands and
lush mountains. The high-quality roads have long straight sections where you can really
unleash the power of your bike. A final coast-hugging leg passing Pattaya’s numerous
attractions takes us back to base camp where the stories of the day can me reminisce over a
sumptuous feast with new friends. When you’re good and ready our luxury vans will return you
safely to your hotel leaving you with memories of a great day out.
